The Miami Herald reports 76 year old Hialeah city councilman José “Pepe” Caragol used the following rhyming reelection slogan on local Spanish-language media
“Si te gusta el sexo oral, vote por Caragol por consejal,”
The literal translation is “If you like oral sex, then vote for Caragol for city council.” Caragol also says he is the only councilman who is VIP, “Viejo, impotente y presumido” (Old, impotent and vain).
